Jonathans Happy Birthday Poem from Olga

Only moments after the minute I was born, I got a message from Olga with a poem she wrote for me for my birthday. It’s a beautiful poem, and I am really quite flattered at the time she took to write it for me. I got all kinds of ecards and such from everyone else, but she put a lot of thought into this, so I would like to share it with everyone.

Happy birthday to a special friend!
Although I haven’t known you many years,
Perhaps because you’ve dried so many tears,
Pleasure reigns as I these greetings send.
Your happiness should last till all things end!
Because you’ve been so sweet and understanding–
In toughest times you’ve made me laugh and smile–
Rejoice in your own specialness awhile:
This I’m not requesting but demanding!
How else to make yourself the celebration,
Doing what does not come naturally?
Always your concern has been for me,
Yet now you must endure my adoration!

Olga is a friend I have known on ICQ for sometime, here is her picture:

    * The earth and the heavens
    * Cannot compare
    * With the sound of your voice
    * And your touch, so fair.

    * I cannot imagine
    * My life without you
    * Even though we are apart
    * I am still with you

    * If you could see
    * Just what you have done to me
    * You would have no doubts
    * That our love was meant to be

    * I love you more
    * With every breath I take
    * I promise you my heart
    * Is only for yours to take

    * And if all goes well
    * When we meet eye to eye
    * I will take you by my side
    * With all my love, until we die.

    * True love.

The Two Become One

A melody is heard
Whispering through the wind
My ear catches a whisp
And ignites a charming grin.

The song I hear is wondrous
Like none I ever heard
The notes set me a fire
My heavenly wings unfurl.

My soul takes flight in one direction
To find that charming tone
It sings of true love and togetherness
And that I’ll never be alone.

The volume rises as I grow closer
My heart beats times three
I look at the source of the melody
And see her looking back at me.

She sings for me a new melody
One which I sing along
As multiples of angels surround us
Attracted to our song.

I hold her in my embrace
In a dance of loving tones
The angels make their way
For the hearts that have been sewn.

Their gentle song becomes as one
Singing of love for all to hear
Some draw closer to listen
Some run in fear.

The two become one in a single strum
From the Holy Instrument on High
And the melody flows around the world
Singing of their love that will never die.
