I believe there are certain forces in this world. Many would like to regard them in the embodiment of entities. Others have a little more of a grasp as to the conceptual reality of these forces. Today I thought on some of the things I see going on with some people I know, and it reminded me of how the forces of evil are operating very well in the lives of many without them even knowing it.
What is the force of evil? To me, it would be that which stops, thwarts, disrupts, destroys, or slows down those from excelling, progressing, growing, and becoming more than what they are. This is one sense of the meaning.
Many look at single acts and identify them as evil. Others look at a persons character and say ‘that is an evil man’. I think that the evil in the world is much closer to home though.
Everyone, at some point or another, have bowed down to this evil force. It is not a big red devilish looking figure that is so easy to spot. God doesn’t operate that way, why should evil?
Remember when you had a dream? You know what I am talking about. There was something special you wanted to do. Something that was just a little out of reach, but if you just worked a little harder, and put in more effort, you could certainly achieve it and all the joys and benefits that came with it.
You started out all well and good. You were excited and told everyone about it. You thought on it day and night over and over and over again. It was the most awesome thing in the world and every fiber of your being wanted to accomplish it.
The forces of evil didn’t try to stop you. They agreed with you. They said “Oh yes, that is a fantastic dream! It would be great for you to do that! You will help sooo many people! You will be loved by so many! You will always be remembered!” … and then… “But what makes you think, YOU can do it?”
“Don’t you remember the time you try this? Remember the time you did that and failed. Remember what your boss, mother, dad, girlfriend, or boyfriend said about you? You are totally right, this dream is fantastic, and it would be great. You just don’t have what it takes to achieve it.”
The excitement fades. As thoughts of your history of failures take over, and your lowly state becomes the standard, that dream as great as it was, is gone. It will never happen. Evil has won.
I hear this, and I see this all the time. I do consulting for clients, and I hear so many great ideas, all prompted by various dreams and desires to accomplish things that are good. No matter how much I might encourage them, the forces they have within themselves to thwart the realization of their dreams are far more powerful.
Do not think a little demon is going to stop you. The forces are much to smart for that. They will agree with you, and then redirect you to all the failures in your life to keep you from accomplishing those dreams. The more the forces of evil keep people from accomplishing, the longer they can keep all of humanity for seeing, and realizing our own greatness.
O SON OF SPIRIT!

God is always on your side. Wants to see you stretch. Wants you to overcome in all your obstacle and struggles. Don’t cry over things being difficult, anything worth having is meant to be difficult. Things received easily are of little value.

Be strong. Don’t give up. Those voices of doubt, that history of failure. It is all there to test just how worthy you believe you are of achieving your dreams. God has deemed you worthy. Anything you can dream is possible. If it was given to you, it can be delivered. It is up to you to start believing in Him though. He can only show you the way, it is up to you to walk the path.
Good and evil are forces at work within us all the time. I just hope sharing this with you may ward off some of that evil that has kept you back from really shining and charging into battle to fight for your dream, to fight for whats right and good.
